Armchair Survivor is a podcast hosted by Marjorie and Michael Carrino.  After they watch each Survivor episode on CBS television (Thursdays at 8:00 ET), they rush to their podcasting studio and record a discussion about the show (OK, they have to get the kids to bed and pour some drinks, first).  There is not much time to think about what really happened on the show, so it's basically a from-the-gut, shoot-from-the-hip take on what just happened.  Barring some kind of disaster, business trips or holiday, the show is waiting for you the next morning on line.  It's like having two more friends with whom you can discuss Survivor!

Now, you can get in on the conversation, too! Join Marjorie and Michael live as they record the podcast -- just click here. You can also call in (via Skype) and give them a piece of your mind.

The Armchair Survivor podcast started in September 2005 when Michael called Marji at work and asked her if she wanted to do a podcast about Survivor. She had to answer quickly because the season premier was airing that evening.  Mike had already been doing podcasts (The Digital Media Cast Experiment and the Digital Media Cast Network DigiCast) so it was either join in the fun or become a podcast widow.  The rest is history.  Armchair Survivor has listeners around the world -- some of whom must first download the Survivor episode since their local television media outlets don't carry the show.  Going into its second season, Armchair Survivor is well within the top 5% of the most downloaded podcasts world wide.

The Carrino's also do a similar show, Armchair Apprentice, for NBC's The Apprentice with Donald Trump. Michael and daughter, Gabrielle, do a podcast about CBS's Kid Nation called Armchiar Kid Nation.
